2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address
- Order data: items purchased and order history
- Payment data: processed directly by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank credential details on our own systems
- Account data: if you create an account, your login details and order history associated with that account
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel
- Marketing preferences: whether you have opted in to receive marketing emails or newsletters
3. How We Collect Data
- Directly from you, when you create an account, place an order, or contact us
- Automatically, through cookies and tracking technologies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) as you browse the Site
- From our payment processor, Razorpay, regarding transaction status (not full payment credentials)

We use your data to:

- Send marketing emails and newsletters, where you have opted in
- Analyse Site traffic and improve user experience

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share your data with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary to operate the Site:
- Our fulfilment partner: receives your name, shipping address, phone number, and order details in order to manufacture and ship your products
- Razorpay (payment gateway): processes your payment transaction data
- Google Analytics: receives technical and usage data for Site analytics
- Meta Pixel: receives technical and usage data for advertising measurement
- MailerLite (email marketing platform): receives your email address if you opt in to marketing communications
- Courier and logistics partners: engaged on our behalf to deliver your order
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. Cross-Border Data Processing
Some of our service providers, including Google, Meta, and MailerLite, may process data on servers located outside India as part of their standard operations. Where this occurs, it is limited to technical, analytics, and marketing data necessary for Site functioning, advertising measurement, and email communications, and is subject to those providers’ own security and compliance standards.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, including order history for accounting and legal compliance purposes. In line with applicable Indian data protection requirements, any personal data will be deleted within 3 years of a user’s last interaction with the platform, with a pre-deletion notice provided at least 48 hours in advance. We will apply this same standard as our user base grows. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent.
8. Your Rights (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
As a Data Principal under India’s DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal)
- Request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- File a grievance with our Grievance Redressal Officer, or subsequently with the Data Protection Board of India

9. Marketing and Communications
If you opt in, we send marketing emails and newsletters, via MailerLite, about new drops, offers, and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting oye@polimemes.in.
